Creative Review Annual 2016

The Annual is Creative Review’s showcase of the best work of the year.

The Creative Review Annual is our major awards scheme, and is trusted by the industry to highlight stand-out work from around the world. Showcasing the best in visual communications from the past year, The Annual celebrates this great work and supports those who produce it by offering a platform to be seen, both by peers and potential clients, from the wider creative community.

Each year, our panel of industry experts chooses the work that they feel represents the best of the year across all aspects of advertising, design and visual communications, for publication in our special double issue of Creative Review in May as well as on a dedicated section of our website.

NEW for 2016 - Changes to Categories

In previous Annuals, we have displayed selected work according to the month in which it was first launched. However, this has always proved confusing to entrants, particularly for those used to a category-based system.

So we’re trying something new this year. Each selected project in The Annual will be tagged with the discipline or medium that it was awarded for.

Work will be displayed by category. If a project displays excellence in more than one category, it will feature in a multidisciplinary section of the Annual where it will be tagged with all the areas which it is being recognised for eg an advertising campaign may include a great commercial, plus social media aspect. All those aspects will be acknowledged in the Annual.
